Fedha appeared on the outletโs Twitter account last Saturday as an image of a woman wearing a black jacket and white t-shirt with blonde hair and light-colored eyes. In her introductory video, which was 13-seconds long, Fedha spoke in classical Arabic, stating that she is the first AI presenter in Kuwait and asking followers for their opinion on the type of news they prefer.
Abdullah Boftain, the deputy editor-in-chief of Kuwait News and Kuwait Times, stated that the introduction of Fedha is a test of AIโs potential in the media industry. He added that in the future, Fedha could adopt the Kuwaiti accent and read online bulletins on the siteโs Twitter account, which currently has 1.2 million followers.
